There are times in our lives when, due to various circumstances, sometimes despite our best efforts, darkness overwhelms us. It may be the loss of someone or something important to us, it may be depression, a low mood or another mental crisis. We feel that the previous – more or less conscious – strategies no longer work, we get lost in a perfectly familiar environment. “When you don’t know what to do, when you’re lost, the first step is to work on your vitality. Only vital forces can guide you when you have no idea where to go,” says Phil Stutz, an American psychotherapist. The pyramid of vital forces has three levels. The lowest is the relationship with the body, the next is the relationship with other people, the highest level is the relationship with yourself.
