The issues of desire, human attractiveness and human sexuality were discussed during the October Psyche Zone, which aroused great interest at the Warsaw SWPS. The discussion entitled "Between desire and anti-desire - contemporary sexuality of women and men" was led by experts cooperating with SWPS. During the discussion on contemporary sexuality of women and men, the participants confronted current trends in the issue of mutual attraction and repulsion, thanks to which people either enter into relationships or intuitively give them a wide berth. Our experts, who work with couples on a daily basis, spoke about the decline of desire in long-term relationships and talked about ways to revive passion in them. They also talked about the role of dating sites as a tool for finding partners, about what is attractive to us and that contrary to popular belief – it has little in common with the so-called canon of today's beauty. The lively debate was led by Michał Pozdał, Robert Kowalczyk, Katarzyna Waszyńska and Agata Loewe.
