The quick bee sting cake without yeast dough and with paradise cream is easy and quick to bake and perfect for a Sunday - the recipe is incredibly easy and the cream tastes irresistibly delicate, vanilla-like and simply perfect - overall, this cake tastes exactly how a real bee sting cake should taste! As always, I'll show you the preparation step by step and give you important tips so that you can easily bake it at home. Ingredients for a springform pan with a diameter of 26 cm: 4 eggs, at room temperature and size M 150 g powdered sugar 1 pack of vanilla pudding powder (or 40 g starch and the pulp of half a vanilla pod) 100 g flour 1 tsp baking powder 100 g flaked almonds 400 g cream 1 pack of vanilla paradise cream (or 40 g starch, 20 g sugar and the pulp of half a vanilla pod - but in this case it would of course be better to prepare a pudding or pastry cream and mix it with the cream once it has cooled down.) Variation for an almond topping that is only added to the pre-baked sponge cake after 20 minutes of baking (I do not show this in the video): Almond topping: 25 g butter 50 g honey 1 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp milk 80 g flaked almonds Bring the butter, honey and sugar to the boil together, deglaze with the milk and stir in the flaked almonds. Carefully spread over the pre-baked sponge cake base. Finish baking. This version gives a nicer shine but takes a little bit longer.
