I am always having fun studying Zenoha Lab while doing housework, working, and going out. My dream is to make and sell works while running a cafe. I graduated from a fashion university and am a home economics teacher at a high school. If you want to make cloth items, from accessories to dresses, you can make almost anything. My worries are about my future activities and maintaining my motivation. I started selling masks on minne on April 20th and started selling them on the second day. In April, I made 33 masks for 23,000 yen, in May, I made 65 masks for about 82,000 yen, in June, I made 27 masks for 38,000 yen, in July, I made 4 masks for 5,600 yen, and since August, I have stopped making masks. After reading Mao's talk on pricing and the Basics of Selling, I raised my prices from mid-May. As you can see from the sales relative to the number of pieces. The number of views is stable at around 100 to 130. It's a mystery why there are so many hits. In July, I was barely able to use the Internet because I was preparing to start consignment sales at an esthetic salon. In August, I started consignment sales, and in the three weeks since then, I have made sales of 52,000 yen for 28 pieces. Since consignment sales are semi-order, the price is set about 300 to 400 yen higher than minne. I also sell online at one store and directly to an acquaintance, and since I started on April 20th, my net profit after expenses, including my hourly wage, has been about 100,000 yen in total. While I want to increase this sales, I am currently working part-time at a cafe and as a home economics teacher about three days a week, and I have three children from kindergarten to third grade...I'm feeling more and more unmotivated. Due to the influence of COVID-19, I go to kindergarten at 9:00 and pick up at 11:00, so I hardly have any time to myself. However, I think that when I have time, I should take stock and write descriptions for the online store. However, the reality is that now that the orders have settled down, I go out with my friends, saying that it's a change of mood, while looking at what I have to do. When I get home, I'm in despair, saying, "Oh, I've piled up again." However, I know better than anyone that no matter how much I step on the sewing machine when I'm not motivated, I won't be able to make beautiful works, so I don't do it. I need to cheer myself up, but what should I do? If it was a company job, I could do it without taking a day off, but I hate myself for not having the strength to discipline myself when it comes to online sales, which I can rely on. When I get an order, I get motivated, but I don't have any orders right now, so I'm like, "Oh well." I haven't even started writing descriptions. I wanted to make parasols, but the summer is over without me having the time to do it. In August, I had to work on consignment sales and other jobs outside of being an artist five days a week, so I didn't actually have time. I have new works, but I haven't put out descriptions and prices yet. Where is my switch? I have to do it, but I want to. But my body is not serious. When I get motivated, I work from morning to night without eating. It's amazing momentum (laughs). My work lacks individuality, and that is also a hindrance to me because I don't have confidence in it. I studied it professionally at university, and I am particular about the neatness of the stitching and the comfort of the fabric, such as the stiffness. As for the price, I only charge a fixed hourly wage because it was difficult to sell it at a low price at the beginning. However, from the customer's perspective, it is a normal design and is expensive compared to other works, so it is difficult to buy it. I want to make it my main job someday, but I am calm and think that it is no good if I cannot control my motivation. Right now, I am wondering whether I should organize my current gallery or focus on developing new works that I am excited about, and the more time I spend, the higher the price will go...It is no longer a consultation about a handmade site, but rather a consultation about mental control, but I would like to receive advice from Mao's objective eyes about the gallery and the direction I should go in when I am stuck. I want to get rid of my lazy self and move forward. At first, some people buy them out of curiosity, but since they are not easily broken, it is difficult to repeat the purchase immediately, and maintaining sales is also a challenge. Some people buy them again for themselves or as gifts because they are glad that they bought them once, but the repeat rate is about 20%. Although the masks are high-end, from a management perspective, the unit price is low, so I would like to turn them into works that can increase the average customer price a little more, but I have to exhibit my current works, and I have some things I want to make, so I am going around in circles. I am thinking about preparing goods for admission to kindergarten and school for next spring, but my hands are stuck again. I have been writing this sentence for two days, but I can't get it together. It's exactly in my head (lol) Mao-san, please give me a pat on the butt. I want to do my best! * * "Good morning! minne LAB" is an official video distribution that minne delivers to artists who are working on crafts.
