GRONINGEN - The Works Council of Qbuzz in Groningen and Drenthe is very concerned about the quality of bus transport in both provinces. The Works Council warns in an open letter that the timetable is in danger of sliding to an unacceptable level. Last month it became clear that public transport in Groningen and Drenthe is struggling with a deficit of millions. The Works Council of Qbuzz fears that dozens of bus lines and journeys will have to be cancelled this year because of this deficit. In the open letter, politicians are called upon to ensure good public transport, especially in the current economic situation.
