We invite you to a Q&A from the series "In the early days it was...". The topic again (!) is the early medieval settlement complex in Chodlik in the Lublin region. Its center was a massive stronghold surrounded by three ramparts about 2 km long. Research has been conducted here for over 60 years, and its results still surprise, and not only archaeologists - you could admire some of the artifacts discovered here at our exhibition "PrzedPolska. Polish lands in tribal times". The stronghold on the picturesque Chodelka river is one of the most important and at the same time most mysterious archaeological sites of the tribal period in Poland. Dr. Łukasz Miechowicz will talk about it - an archaeologist employed at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, deals with medieval and modern archaeology, archaeological research methodology (especially so-called new technologies), is the head of the research mission in Chodlik of the Polish Academy of Sciences - Archaeology and antiquity of Chodlik.
