PUTIN'S WAR: Breakthroughs on the front! Ukraine faces decisive defeat in Chasiv Yar Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has left room for temporary Russian control over Ukrainian territories. "Perhaps Ukraine needs to outlive someone in Moscow in order to achieve its goals and restore the entire national territory," Zelensky said in parliament, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin (72). There he presented a plan on how his country can better withstand Russian pressure. International media have been speculating for some time that the war in Ukraine along the front line could be frozen without Kyiv legally ceding territory to Russia. Nevertheless, Zelensky categorically rejected formal legal territorial cessions. "We are not giving up Ukraine's rights to its territory," the head of state stressed. He later admitted in an interview with the US broadcaster Fox News that Ukraine could lose the war if the massive support from the USA dries up when Donald Trump takes office in the White House. "If they stop (the aid), I think we will lose," said Zelensky. But Ukraine will continue the fight nonetheless. Ukraine has its own arms industry, but its production is not sufficient. "It will not be enough to survive." #weltnetzreporter #ukraine #russia #war Subscribe to the WELT Netzreporter Channel / dienetzreporter WELT Nachrichtensender Channel / weltvideotv WELT DOKU Channel / weltdoku WELT Podcast Channel / weltpodcast The WELT news livestream http://bit.ly/2fwuMPg The top news on WELT.de http://bit.ly/2rQQD9Q The media library on WELT.de http://bit.ly/2Iydxv8 WELT Nachrichtensender on Instagram https://bit.ly/IGWELTTV WELT on Instagram http://bit.ly/2X1M7Hk On our own behalf: Due to the high volume of irrelevant and offensive posts, we are currently unable to allow any more comments.
