After months and months of disappearing from the face of the earth, Amersfoort ghost councillor Mustafa Özcan was finally spotted in the council chamber again yesterday evening at half past nine, when the meeting was almost over. 20,000 euros richer in monthly allowances and all that time not having lifted a finger for the Amersfoort voter who once cast his vote for the Turkish Spöökpöliticüs. The former GroenLinks member (now on his own list) was overwrought, had a broken navigation system and could no longer find his way to the Amersfoort council chamber. (Not surprising, if you are now working for the Turkish government in Turkey.) While he wasted away under the piles of euro notes that were raining down on him in the meantime, there was no one to show him the way, according to the disconsolate Turk. Nonsense. Our Tom Staal has been driving past his house with a fruit basket for months to get mister Özcan back on the right track. Last night he finally managed to find him. And what did Tom get in return? A vulgar push and pull video!
