Hello everyone, it was a spectacle in 2019 when 58 311 struggled up the rarely used line of the Westerwaldbahn to Bindweide. I would say that the train was traveling close to the load limit for this route. The biggest problem, however, was that the line is rarely used and the tracks were wet and slippery. After the train broke down for the first time when leaving Scheuerfeld and had to be started again, the brilliant uphill journey began. Shortly before entering the Scheuerfeld tunnel, the 58 skidded again. The staff must have had beads of sweat on their foreheads. The tunnel was only driven through at walking pace, which meant that for a while only steam came out of the tunnel before the locomotive. A very rare spectacle. At this point, a big compliment to the staff. It was certainly a great achievement to get the train to its destination anyway.
