The Pukala Recreational Forest in Orivesi has been named one of the Finland 100 Nature Gems. Lake Pukala is 54 meters deep and surrounded by rocky shores. The clear-water lake is one of the most beautiful places in Pirkanmaa. The description of the Nature Conservation Association describes the area as a national park-level entity. So it is not for nothing that the area is called the Inari of Southern Finland. In the summer, Lake Pukala offers magnificent landscapes for kayakers, hikers, and the bravest even try mountain biking. In winter, the trails stay open thanks to hard walking. I left the Majalahti parking lot towards the Roninmaa lean-to, where I ate a snack right away. There was not much frost and relatively little snow. After the storm, there were more fallen trees on the trails. On the way back, I took the trail that runs through Lake Neejärvi. The Roninmaa lean-to is a very popular hiking destination, especially in the summer, so overnight hikers should choose a slightly quieter place to sleep. (PS. The sound is only audible in the right ear in the headphones, my apologies for this technical error. I hope the reason for this is clear soon😊).
