Publishing: • PUBLISHING A BOOK / PUBLISHER OR SE... A little tip: If you're still very young, I can only recommend that you upload your first stories online without selling them. There are great platforms for this, such as wattpad.com or sweek.com. I know that you would like to start in the book trade straight away, but you can still learn so much and get great feedback if you choose that path first. Treat yourself to the time you have! I have also written lots of stories just for myself and only gave them away at Christmas. That's not bad at all. You always learn so much and in the end you are glad that you didn't start too young. You know, once something is on the internet, it stays there. Paperbacks are never deleted from the Amazon site, they are just no longer available or deliverable. It's so annoying when you are older and the time is right and the first drafts are listed under your own name. So keep your chin up and believe in yourself! And ultimately, as I have said many times before, it should always be about writing and not about making money from it!
