The Toyota Land Cruiser 250, which went on sale in April 2024, was developed with the concept of returning to its roots as a core model of the Land Cruiser series, in response to the fact that the light-duty Prado, which was derived by adding passenger car elements to the heavy-duty 70 series, has become more and more luxury-oriented with each generation. The Land Cruiser 250 is based on the same GA-F platform as the Land Cruiser 300, and has a high degree of mechanical commonality, and also uses the same wheelbase of 2850 mm as the 300. However, while the 300 is "easy to drive and not tiring" on any road, the 250 is subtly differentiated as "easy to handle and fun for anyone," and it seems to have been given some new features.
