What can the consequences of not treating psychosomatic disorders be? Joanna Zapała - psychotherapist, specialist in clinical psychology - somatic illness path (no. 006/2014.2/42). Graduate of psychology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She completed comprehensive training in Ericksonian therapy at the Polish Ericksonian Institute and advanced training at The Milton H. Erickson Foundation in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, among others. Trainer of Rational Behavior Therapy (RBT) since 2003. EMDR therapist, University of Birmingham EMDR Europe certificate. She has completed a number of training courses in cognitive-behavioral therapy in the classical approach and the Third Wave (Schema Therapy, EMDR, ACT, DBT, Mindfulness). She is a graduate of the Empathy Based Business Life Coaching Course. She is a Group Training Trainer. She is an instructor of Movement Improvisation and Body Symbolism (Institute of Movement Dynamics and Dance in Essen). She is a certified psycho-oncologist (PTPO Certificate No. 13) and a psycho-oncology supervisor (PTPO Certificate No. 2), and a Psycho-oncology Trainer (Polish Psycho-oncological Society). She is a graduate of a comprehensive psychotherapy course organized by the Cogito Laboratory and the Association for Psychiatry and Community Care in Krakow. She is currently studying for a doctorate at the Karol Marcinkowski Medical University in Poznań. She is the director of the Integral Psychotherapy Center and the president of the PSYCHE SOMA POLIS Association in Poznań. Together with dr hab. Ewa Gruszczyńska, she is the author and substantive director of the postgraduate studies "Psychosomatics and somatopsychology" and "Psychooncology - therapeutic approaches". Together with dr Monika Matecka, she is the author and substantive director of the postgraduate studies "Psychology of longevity and aging" at SWPS University. Zofia Szynal - psychologist, psychoeducator and certified psychotherapist. She conducts treatment using methods of cognitive-behavioral therapy and schema therapy. She completed psychology studies at SWPS University, where she also completed a four-year psychotherapeutic training. She also completed postgraduate studies in clinical sexology, conducted by UAM in Poznań. She is a member of the Polish Society for Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and the Polish Sexological Society. She regularly supervises the processes she conducts, and on a daily basis she runs a private psychotherapeutic practice "Na najlepsze". She also serves as the head of the therapeutic team at the Mental Health Center+ in Wrocław. She is involved in numerous psychoeducational projects. Strefa Psyche of SWPS University is a project that popularizes psychological knowledge at the highest substantive level and discovers the possibilities of action offered by psychology in various areas of both private and professional life.
