Representatives of opposition parties in Serbia have been blocking the entrances to the court and prosecutor's office in Novi Sad since this morning. They are demanding an investigation into the case of police brutality against pensioner Ilija Kostić, who was detained during earlier protests and who was allegedly beaten at the police station. They are also demanding the release of all activists who are still in custody, as well as the prosecution of those responsible for the collapse of a canopy in Novi Sad, in which 15 people died and two were seriously injured. There are a large number of Gendarmerie members in front of and inside the building, and a fence has been erected around the facility. Katarina Vojnović is in Novi Sad. #NoviSad Subscribe to our channel https://ajb.me/xi67cv Follow us on X: https://x.com/AJBalkans Find us on Facebook: / ajbalkans Visit our website: https://balkans.aljazeera.net/ Check out our Instagram page: / ajbalkans Download AJB mobile apps: https://webapps.aljazeera.net/ajb/apps/ @AJBalkans #AJBalkans #News #Al Jazeera Balkans #Balkans #Sarajevo #Beograd #Zagreb
