Additional insulating protective equipment is such that, having insufficient insulation, cannot ensure the safety of the worker. They can be used only in combination with the basic equipment, enhancing their effect. In electrical installations up to 1000 V: basic insulating equipment: dielectric gloves, insulated current measuring pliers, fitter's tools with insulated handles, current detectors. additional insulating means: dielectric galoshes, mats, insulating stands. In electrical installations above 1000 V: main insulating means: insulating rods, insulating current measuring clamps, voltage indicators additional insulating means: fitter's tool with insulated handles, dielectric gloves, boots, mats, insulating stands.
