This week's Prosa Rural Podcast highlights direct planting of forage in pasture renovation. Rural producers from several municipalities in Acre have already invested in this planting method to ensure productive pastures and quality food for their livestock. Around 15 thousand hectares of pastures have already been renovated with direct planting of forage in Acre. The technique can be used on rural properties with different profiles, especially family-based ones that do not have the agricultural machinery and implements necessary for conventional renovation. The researcher from Embrapa Acre, Carlos Maurício Andrade, provides guidance on the technique.
