The impressive and dramatic life story of Hazrat-i Yusuf, which is also mentioned in the Quran... The Hz. Yusuf series, episode 1, is on YouTube with HD Turkish dubbing. Living in the city of Fedan in Babylon, Prophet Jacob had been shepherding the flock of his uncle (Laban), who was the governor of that city, for a long time. The idolatrous people of Fedan made offerings to Ishtar, the mother goddess of Babylon, for rain, and attributed the lack of rain in this city to the gods' displeasure with Jacob's actions. Jacob, on the other hand, told the people in the city of Fedan to believe in one God and not to associate partners with Him. However, despite all their anger, the people of Fedan could not do anything to Jacob because they were afraid of the governor Laban. One day, they sentenced Jacob to death for someone from the people of Fedan who despised the gods. However, Jacob saved the man by giving him blood money just as he was about to be thrown into the fire. This behavior brought about the belief of the prisoner and his wife. Raheel, one of Yakub's four wives, becomes pregnant after many years. However, the child is never born. Yakub goes to the date palm to pray to Allah.
