When you think of producers, you usually think of Rick Rubin, Timbaland, and maybe even J Dilla - all legends of the US rap world. But the German producer scene is in no way inferior. Tracks delves into the world from which the current stars of the rap game come. For decades, producers have led a shadowy existence: for many years, most people only knew the people on the record covers. But that is increasingly changing. In recent years, a flourishing scene has developed from the studios of the republic, which is entering the public eye with increasing self-confidence. The sound makes the music and the producers make the beat - and without a beat, there are no hits. Dexter and Bazzazian have been proving this for years. Cro, Haftbefehl, Casper, Olexesh - there is hardly an artist in the German scene who has not used a beat from at least one of these two. Tracks travels to Cologne and Stuttgart to talk to the new stars of the rap scene. But one shortcoming remains - Flintas are still significantly underrepresented. Tracks asks Female Producer Price why this is the case. #producer #beats #rap Dexter: / diggidexter Bazzazian: / bazzazian Lia: / liaofficial Yuki: / yukibaebi Philo Tsoungui: / philo.tsoungui A film by: Laurin Lell Camera: Judith Zastrow, Jacob Hohf Sound: Judith Zastrow Editing: Jacob Hohf Team Signed Media: Jamo Franz, Yasmine Kempynck, Rafael Hein, Jean-Alexander Ntivyihabwa, Mila Tabatabai, Wiebke Zippel ZDF editorial team: Felicitas Hammerstein, Lena Goliasch Media library: https://www.arte.tv/de/videos/117787-...
