In this video I will show you how to clean the air conditioner at home without calling a professional company. One clarification that here we will only talk about the inner body. As always we start with electrical safety, namely turning off the power supply. It is recommended to clean the filters every 2 weeks (14 days). And in this clip, we will look at the annual prevention, which includes disassembling the air conditioner and takes at least an hour. My advice is if you are doing it for the 1st time, give yourself at least 2 hours so that everything has time to dry. For cleaning you will need a ladder, screwdrivers, degreaser, bleach/anti-mildew and a rag. If you seek the services of a company that offers a preventive service, such cleaning would cost you about BGN 50-60 per air conditioner (prices now start at BGN 80). No offense to the professionals, I'm just mentioning that some companies wouldn't even bother to come to your home for an hour or so. That is why I recommend that everyone try such a cleaning for themselves to enjoy fresher air and lower electricity bills.
