This is the 0-series Shinkansen 21-100, preserved in Tsutsujigaoka Park, Akishima City. It was used as a public library and was affectionately known as the "Shinkansen Train Library," but it is currently closed. Although it has outlived its usefulness as a library and its paint is deteriorating, it is still preserved in the park and can be seen from up close. As of 2024, crowdfunding is being carried out to bring this 0-series Shinkansen back to life and reborn as a new landmark. The project aims to repair the paint on the carriages and erect a roof, turning it into a "facility with an open space for relaxation and interaction." I'm having fun making a "railroad goods store" using photos that I think I can clear the rights to. https://suzuri.jp/Second_Life_of_Rail... I upload the train photos I take to note so they can rest in peace. https://note.com/mandy_jones_jr/ Twitter https://x.com/mandy_jones_jr
