The recovery of the bridge deck and the cranes after the accident with the Queen Juliana Bridge will be done from the shore. A stabilization tower will be placed in the Hooftstraat, to support the masts in the cranes and to prevent the bridge deck from sliding into the Oude Rijn. There will also be two cranes in the Hooftstraat and a floating crane on the water. This is a 60-meter-long crane that was specially built to lift from the water.
