Welcome to the Technician's Notebook! It is a great pleasure for our team to welcome you. We are starting our activities in this space dedicated to studies and technical tasks, and the best part of all this is the exchange of experiences. Our goal in this video today is to present the MPX presence sensor for external walls by MAGIRIUS and demonstrate its connection on a bench, with the necessary tests for a more detailed understanding of the product. Features of the MPX-40F sensor: Articulated and bivolt Used to activate lamps and lighting systems Detects the movement of heat sources, such as people and large animals Has a photocell, adjustable sensitivity and timing Compatible lamp types: Incandescent Halogen Compact fluorescent LEDs Technical specifications: Actuation angle: 90º Maximum range: approximately 8 meters Actuation area: high sensitivity Adjustment: You can adjust it by changing the position of the jumper. Advantages of connecting the sensor: Energy savings Comfort by avoiding walking in the dark in hallways or when climbing stairs Greater safety Operation: Time setting: 30 seconds, 1 minute or 4 minutes. Photocell setting: Off: activates in light or dark environments (+): activates in low light at dusk (-): activates when it is dark at night Important information: To activate metal vapor, sodium, mercury or mixed lamps, use auxiliary devices such as contactors. Do not exceed the number of LED lamps or luminaires on the same sensor. Connections: Yellow sensor cable: receives the phase from the network. Blue sensor cable: receives the neutral from the network if connected to 127 volts. If you need to supply a two-phase 220 network, the blue cable can receive the other phase. If the 220 volt network is single-phase, follow the same criteria. Gray sensor cable: powers the lamp. The lamp: receives the neutral from the network in this task. Test: OK! Thank you for coming! Subscribe to the channel if you haven't already and I'll wait for you in the next video. I'm your friend and instructor on the CADERNO DO TÉCNICO channel.
