FOLLOW ME ON INSTAGRAM: / guida_oggi FOLLOW ME ON FACEBOOK: / guidaoggi During the driving test, the examiner will give you directions on the route to follow, except in special cases. Do you know what you have to do when you hear him say let's turn right or left? I'll explain it to you in this video. During the exam, your instructor will be sitting next to you, while the examiner will sit in any of the back seats. Once you've started, he will start giving you directions on the route to follow. It is known that going straight does not require great skill, but it is when you are told to turn that you will have to show off what you can do with the car. The first thing to do is to check that you can actually turn into the indicated road. After checking that you can make the turn, we will start to work with the vehicle. Each turn requires a specific position, but before moving to the correct position, we will have to check that we CAN move, checking it with the rear-view mirrors. Immediately after checking that we can move to the most suitable position for the turn, we will have to Warn of our movement, obviously by activating the direction indicator, right or left depending on the direction to follow, and it is essential to do so with adequate advance notice, given that our maneuver will also involve other road users, especially those behind us. After checking the mirrors and putting on the indicator, the most delicate part of the maneuver will begin, the one in which we will have to work with the pedals and gears. Without wasting time, we will start to slow down with the brake. Braking must be very delicate. If when you press the brake pedal you see your instructor's head suddenly go forward, it is a bad sign, it means that you have exaggerated. The braking must be barely perceptible, and must be as constant as possible. Remember that the sooner you start to slow down, the more time you will have to do the thing that usually causes the most apprehension, that is, the downshift, that is, the shift to a lower gear. And the more constant and light the braking, the better the downshift will be, you can be sure of it. So, after checking the mirrors and putting on the indicator, start immediately, except in special cases, to slow down. Now is when the most delicate part begins, that is, the downshift. You will probably have already moved into the correct position, and you will be slowing down. If you are in third, which is the gear that is used most When driving in a built-up area, you will have to press the clutch, without I recommend releasing the brake but always keeping it slightly pressed, engage second, the gear that is normally used when turning, and then lift the clutch again. As you do so, you will feel the braking action of the engine, which will help you slow down further. It is important to release the clutch correctly so as not to have a sudden intervention of the engine brake that would unpleasantly make the car jolt. I have already made some videos in which I explain how to use the clutch and how to manage the brake and clutch in preparation for a turn, if you have not seen it I leave the links below in the description, or you can see them by clicking on the "i" here at the top right. Only after completing the downshift and reaching the correct speed to tackle the turn in full Control, and not at fast and furious, can you release the brake, concentrating on the steering wheel and on the correct Line to keep with the car. Once the turn is over, the arrow will go off by itself and you can accelerate again, taking a speed suitable for the circumstances, and not continuing to go slowly as if you were still turning. What I have just described to you are the things that will have to be done, in that precise order, from the moment the examiner tells you to turn Towards a certain direction. This video on the order of things to do before making a turn also ends here. See you soon with the next video always Here on the channel guida oggi con Andrea. #esamediguida #lasvolta #guidareoggi
