After graduating from the University of Tokyo and Harvard University Graduate School, he worked as a consultant at McKinsey. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 1993. He has served as Minister of Financial Services and Administrative Reform, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Minister of Foreign Affairs. He is currently Secretary-General of the LDP. Joseph Kraft Economic Analyst After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley in 1986, he joined Morgan Stanley NYK. Tim Kelly Senior Correspondent, Reuters Tokyo Bureau Born in the UK. Graduated from the University of Sheffield (UK). He worked as a reporter covering the Prime Minister's Office at Bloomberg's Tokyo bureau from 2000, and after serving as Tokyo bureau chief of Forbes magazine, he joined Reuters as a senior correspondent in 2010.
