MERDEKA.COM - Deputy Chairperson and Member of the National Economic Council (DEN), Mari Elka Pangestu, was frank about the benefits for Indonesia after joining BRICS. She said the forum became a medium to fight for issues of developing countries. Mari Elka explained that the decision to join BRICS had been made since the beginning of President Prabowo Subianto's leadership. BRICS, she said, could be a forum to balance other forums that have existed so far.
