Our potato experiment field is finally ready for harvest! In this video, you can follow us during the potato harvest, get to know an old potato spinner and find out our conclusion about our little potato experiment! In order to better protect the potatoes from excessive infestation by Colorado potato beetles and blight, this year we have grown our potatoes in mixed culture - in the spirit of permaculture. We have chosen the following crops for our experiment field: spinach, beans, phacelia and potatoes (which we also call Spibophka mixed culture).
