Marco Aarnink (https://financialfocus.abnamro.nl/ver...) started the internet printing company Drukwerkdeal in 2005. The idea came from his graduation project. With a webshop and cheap European suppliers, he wanted to become a strong competitor in the field of standardized printing, as he explains in Vermogens in Nederland (Wealth in the Netherlands). He succeeded. A few years later, the company employed 175 people. In 2014, Aarnink sold the company to competitor Vistaprint and received €24 million for his shares. This portrait is part of Vermogens in Nederland (https://financialfocus.abnamro.nl/ver...), a unique three-part documentary series about the lives of wealthy people in the Netherlands. What issues do they struggle with? How and for what do they invest their money? Has their wealth changed them? And how will the next generation deal with their prospect of wealth?
