Although this question may sound ironic to you, it is completely obvious to a narcissist. Grandiosity and arrogance are two characteristics that describe narcissists very well. It is true that a narcissist is a person who likes himself too much, but it is not only about that. If we are talking about a real narcissist, this is only one of the less essential parts of his "self". Narcissists show an excessive sense of self-importance, have a deep need for admiration, a reduced sense of empathy, guilt and responsibility. They continuously use various manipulative techniques, emotionally and psychologically abuse others to achieve their goals. We call this psychological terror on the part of narcissists, which often ends in the complete destruction of the victim's personality, narcissistic abuse syndrome. We talked about this syndrome with Dr. Robert Tomšik from the Research Institute of Child Psychology and Pathopsychology in the Science Within Reach podcast. PaedDr. Robert Tomšik, PhD. is a scientific researcher in the field of psychology.
