Plastic is floating in the sea, clogging up beaches and the stomachs of animals. A plague! Even the big companies claim to have understood this by now, and are constantly bringing new single-use plastic packaging onto the market. Corporations such as Nestlé, Unilever and Procter & Gamble are announcing major initiatives to stop plastic pollution. But how serious are they really about it? STRG_F reporters Tobias and David are looking for answers, among other places, in a country where the conflict over plastic between consumers and corporations has obviously been present for a long time: the Philippines.
