About :

A beautiful, very simple and rewarding excursion, starting from the Monte Farno car park, above the municipality of Gandino BG to do a circular tour, parking cost € 2.50 per day. From the car park, go up along the road that runs alongside the houses of Monte Farno until you reach the mountain pastures, alternatively there is also a path on the left if you do not want to do the first part on a paved road. You thus arrive at a crossroads, on the right you continue for the tour of the malghe and the Parafulmine refuge always on a paved road, on the left the path for Pizzo Formico starts, the path does not present any difficulty except for a couple of passages on small bottles just before arriving under the majestic cross of the summit. Continue to your left until you reach a chapel where on the right the path starts that in 10 minutes arrives at the refuge.
