Excursion of November 7th. It has snowed a lot at high altitude these days. All the peaks are covered in white. The winning choice therefore fell on the Lower Anzasca Valley, on the southern side. Today we will climb to altitudes below 2000 meters, but we will still enjoy a breathtaking view, also following a very interesting itinerary, through mountain pastures and beautiful fir and beech forests. A riot of colors in this season! ???? I return to these places deciding to link two peaks: Pizzo Castello and Croce del Cavallo, following the long and suggestive ridge that unites them. Length: 15.5 km - Difference in altitude: 1640 m. It is however possible to study other routes, reducing the excursion. This area is in fact full of easy and well-maintained paths, which cut across the side of the mountain.
