DIY. According to the dictionary, self-activity means the creative activity of lovers of things in some art field. Literally, it means being able to do what I want; when I want, how I want, where I want and with whom I want. It is this kind of freedom and creativity that has accompanied the folk music ensemble Pilistvere Pillimehed through their 45 years of activity. The history of the chapel has been rich and varied, full of different formations, undertakings and performances. People have danced and sung to the Pilistvere Pipers' playing, it has created a mood and has been a companion at both parish and county events, national events and even outside Estonia. Their dedication and love for folk music has brought joy to both local and distant listeners for decades. Self-employment has allowed them to express themselves creatively, while preserving the traditions of folk music and bringing it to the audience in their own unique way. Thank you Pilistvere Pipers for all your creative activity and contribution! We are ready to dance to your tune for decades to come. Good luck and continued success!
