The most typical day of Alcañiz arrived, as always, on September 9th, when thousands of Alcañiz residents and visitors came to the Sanctuary of the Virgen de Pueyos. After the offering of flowers to the patron saint, a mass was celebrated, sung by the Cachirulo, and the traditional lunch was held by families, groups and friends.
