The Paseo de la Independencia in Zaragoza is a meeting point for the Zaragoza clubs, who after reading their particular proclamation of the festivities in honour of Our Lady Virgen del Pilar, head in a procession to witness the other proclamation announcing the festivities from the balcony of the city hall, followed by the “chupinazo” and the fireworks, which kick off an extensive programme.
