You may know the problem – you bought a nicely detailed Piko locomotive and put it on your Märklin layout, but the thing doesn't register on your CS2 or CS3. Or you were lucky and the locomotive did register, but incompletely, or it has problems running because it suddenly stops, the sound stops or the lights start flashing. This is because the SmartDecoder is unfortunately not really compatible with Mfx and so it is best to operate the locomotive with DCC. I'll show you how to do this in this video.
