In carols, one can trace spiritual evolution, and beyond that, a certain theosophical revolution. Through carols, it is easy to understand and feel the regional differences of the Region in terms of language features. Each region or district performs the same carol in its own special and unique dialect, with its own linguistic flavor. All this, in turn, demonstrates the greatness of the linguistic heritage in its encyclopedic sense. Many composers of their time drew inspiration from carols. Someone adapted traditional works to the symphonic space, like Mykola Leontovych, and someone practiced completely original material, like Ostap Nyzhankivsky. The study of carols is not only an extremely interesting but also a very important practice: from a linguistic, literary, and musical point of view. Therefore, we also had a desire to participate in this historical, ritual and ceremonial marathon.
