The Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) is an international comparative psychometric study, carried out by the OECD, which measures the competencies of the working-age population in three key domains for information processing in today's society: reading comprehension, mathematical reasoning and adaptive problem solving. In this webinar, the Mineduc Study Center details the results of the application of the PIAAC in Chile, which improves its score in mathematical reasoning and narrows the gap with OECD countries in reading comprehension.
