Photographing the landscape, a huge field of poppies at the foot of a mountain and then along a path that revealed a small waterfall hidden among the vegetation. I went out to photograph the landscape without a destination but with the idea of ​​discovering a new place and perhaps an archaeological area. I travel along a country road that climbs along a hill and when I reached the top an immense spectacle opened up before me, green meadows, woods and fields covered with poppies at the foot of a wooded mountain. I began to photograph and based the video on the incidence of light. Then I ventured along a path and entered the environment of a small river completely hidden by the vegetation, the branches of the trees created an intense shadow, it looked like a tunnel. A wild and uncontaminated environment along which I discovered a small waterfall hidden among the vegetation... truly a nice surprise. The situation was photographically complex, with strong contrasts between the light that penetrated between the vegetation and the shadow below. These are the most difficult situations to photograph, there is no multiple exposure that holds, HDR or post production to find a balance between lights and shadows, especially because the dynamic range of the sensors is still far from that of the human eye.
