After publishing his articles on Special Relativity and General Relativity, Albert Einstein began his studies on an experiment that had challenged physicists for decades. The Photoelectric Effect, as it became known, was part of the short list of unexplained phenomena. This list also included Black Body Radiation, which was solved by Max Planck around the year 1900. However, the solution to Black Body Radiation raised more questions than answers for the scientific community. Albert Einstein, having been welcomed by Max Planck, who had noted the great genius in his articles on the Theory of Relativity, ended up becoming a person close to the man who would become known as the Father of Quantum Mechanics (Max Planck). After finishing his studies on the Theory of Relativity, Albert Einstein decided to dedicate himself entirely to trying to describe the laws behind the Photoelectric Effect. In this attempt, he realized the possibility of using the newly born Quantum Theory of his friend Planck to explain the Phenomenon of the Photoelectric Effect. The difficulty that the scientific community was having in understanding the Photoelectric Effect was linked to the fact that it did not respect the laws of Classical Physics, which was the only physics known at the time. Although Albert Einstein was responsible for explaining the Photoelectric Effect that so terrified scientists, this explanation was based on a theory that, until then, was not very well accepted by scientists at the time. The explanation of the Photoelectric Effect earned Albert Einstein the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1922, in addition to serving as a powerful support for Planck's Quantum Theory, which began to be better accepted by scientists at the time after they realized that precisely the phenomena that they could not explain were being explained through Quantum Mechanics. ======================================================= ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL: Difficulty with physics?
