Under the motto "you get to know each other best on holiday", Philippe invites guests to his holiday home in the Walloon Gaume region every week this season. The guest list is diverse: Philippe welcomes people with autism, people who have struggled with an addiction, people with a striking appearance, women, people with an unfulfilled desire to have children and people with different gender experiences. For the episode with the seniors, Philippe - given the advanced age of most of his guests - does not go on holiday, but visits them at home and organises a day trip. Philippe listens to the stories of his guests, explores the wide area with them and, above all, gets to know them really well. It doesn't stop there: humour is also an important part of Taboe. Philippe does what he does best: making jokes. He brings a comedy set about the theme in question, with his new friends prominently in the front row of a room full of fellow sufferers. All these ingredients together make Taboe what it is: a unique mix of human interest and comedy. A programme that wants to breathe air into sensitive themes and connect people through humour, directed by Kat Steppe. If you can't get enough of Taboe, you can also watch three special, international episodes on VRT NU. #Taboo: from December 26 every Sunday at 8.05 pm on Eén and VRT NU.
