The protagonist is detective Lemmy Caution, an at first glance swashbuckling investigator who goes after checkers and whiskey. His frivolity, however, is only a mask. Who is the real Lemmy? This is how the character defines himself: "I am a man who never does what others expect." Lemmy thus untangles the strings of a dark business using his irresistible humor, which disarms crooks or enemies. Who is Lemmy really fighting against? Henrietta is the wife of a shady businessman named Granworth Aymes, found dead in the waters of a lake, crushed in his car. The close associates of the businessman are Burdell, Fernandez and Periera. Another important character is Paulette, the wife of Rudy Benito, the patron swindled by Aymes. Broadly speaking, the action can be written like this: After the death (real or staged?) of Granworth Aymes, his wife, lady Henrietta is caught exchanging a share of thousands of dollars at a bank, an action that turns out to be fake. Detective Lemmy sets out to shed light on this case as well. Through a series of events, it becomes clear that Burdell, Fernandez and Periera work hand in hand. All the threads skilfully tangled by the three lead to the arrest of Henrietta as the author of the premeditated assassination of her husband. Or (asks the question) does someone deeply desire the removal of Henrietta, in order to cover up others' misdeeds? QUESTION: Do you know who actually killed Granworth Aymes? ------------------ Cast: Dan Condurache, Dana Dogaru, Gabriela Popescu, Mircea Albulescu, Theodor Danetti, Silviu Stănculescu, Mihai Niculescu, Şerban Cellea, Virginia Rogin, Ruxandra Sireteanu, Violeta Berbiuc, Paul Chiribută, Boris Petroff, Eugen Cristea, Dragoş Ionescu, Gheorghe Pufulete.
