Check out the link: https://bit.ly/comunidade-12 Personality rights are a set of fundamental legal prerogatives that aim to protect essential aspects of human beings, such as life, physical and mental integrity, honor, image, privacy, among others. These rights are inherent to all people and their main objective is to guarantee respect for human dignity and individual integrity. These rights are inalienable and irrevocable, and cannot be the object of a legal transaction that limits or extinguishes them. Furthermore, they are imprescriptible, that is, they are not lost over time, and are enforceable both in private relationships and before the State. The protection of personality rights is supported both by specific legislation, such as the Civil Code, and by international human rights documents. In legal practice, the violation of these rights often results in lawsuits for moral damages, where the affected individual seeks compensation for attacks or invasions of these very personal and fundamental aspects of their existence. Modern jurisprudence has expanded and detailed the application of these rights, adapting them to the new realities and challenges imposed by contemporary society, such as those related to the internet and new technologies. Professor Bruno Zampier will show you how to study the subject clearly. Happy studying! ???? Follow us on social media!
