It was the salvation of my short birdwatching trip this morning. Actually, I shouldn't have seen the animal at all, but I got out of the car in the Zouweboezem and then it turned out I had forgotten my tripod! Filming birds without a tripod is impossible, so I decided to drive through the polders to the Donkse Laagten. If I saw something, I had my bean bag. And so I arrived in the Donkse Laagten where I parked my car and immediately saw this peregrine falcon flying! I had probably disturbed him while he was tearing his prey apart. But no worries, after a while he returned and continued where he had left off: tearing his prey apart...
