It used to be referred to as mild brain dysfunction, now the term hyperkinetic disorder or the abbreviation ADHD (from the English Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is more commonly used. Both children and adults suffer from this neurodevelopmental disorder. However, according to clinical psychologist and psychotherapist Radek Ptáček, even some experts succumb to the myth that there is no such thing as ADHD in reality.
