PEFcast is a podcast of the Faculty of Education, University of Ljubljana, intended for all teachers, educators, students, future students and colleagues employed at the faculties who would like to listen to current content in the field of education. We are Sanja Berčnik and Laura Rožman Krivec, both employees of the Faculty of Education, University of Ljubljana, and we are your hosts in the podcast. In the podcasts, we will host experts, researchers, authors, students, who will present their current research work through a conversation and debate current topics in the field of education, as well as present study programs and major events at the faculty. Ana is employed at the Faculty of Education as an assistant in the Department of Special and Rehabilitation Pedagogy, and is also employed at the Institute for Autism. The discussion focused on the VITA project, on students with special needs - their needs and challenges, on the work of higher education teachers and colleagues with students with special needs, and on the article authored by Ana Bezenšek, Karmen Javornik and Milena Košak Babuder entitled Students with Autistic Disorders, published in the scientific monograph Special pedagogical aspects of innovative approaches to learning and teaching students with special needs in higher education.
