After over six years with, perhaps the world's best city car BMW i3, it was time for Alrik to change cars. In the series "Alrik's Car Hunt", he has calculated the economy of a bunch of affordable cars and nowadays it is difficult to get away cheaper than with a privately leased MG 4 Bas - if you can charge at home. But how fun is it? The hunt therefore continued among used cars, with a focus on as low a loss in value as possible - but still with greed. When the car was bought, the petrol price was still well over 20 kroner and V8 luxury cars were perhaps not what most economically hard-pressed Swedes were looking for. So buying mode! The sights were set on a Lexus LS because the brand has fantastically high operational safety ratings and extremely satisfied owners and suddenly the right example was for sale, at the right price. But could Peder guess which car Alrik bought? Blindfolded, Peder was given ten guesses and the confusion was great at first, and it didn't get any easier when he had to ride along and listen to the engine noise, which is not Lexus-like.
