On 07/27/19 we started the climb to Pico dos Marins in the early hours of the morning. Very very cold, a lot of stars in the sky, and the power of shooting stars that have brought me many realizations, I thank you. We watched the sun rise on the trail, with a stop for breakfast, our little friend's cramp lol, lots of good energy, friends, laughter and a sensational view. It was about a 7km climb to the peak with around 20kg in the load, it took us 7 hours in total, including a stop for night photos, rest, breakfast; On the move it was around 5:30 am. It's heavy! Prepare yourself with good physical fitness to venture into the mountain, unfortunately we saw a death this weekend, a fire helicopter only managed to arrive around 7 hours after the man's sudden illness. It's worth remembering that mountains are serious business, always prepare with adequate equipment, conditioning and if you don't have experience, hiring a local guide can be essential. Well, we camped there at the peak, it's 2420m above sea level. A visual to be moved by. We had wonderful weather, an incredible sunset, full of colors, a cold, starry night without much wind, we woke up to catch the sunrise on Sunday, had a hearty coffee and started the descent. It was 4 hours of descending, tired knees and toes haha and a huge satisfaction of mission accomplished. I am very grateful to the mountain goat friends that I gain along the way, for the teachings that this experience brings me, for all the expansion of my consciousness, heart and soul. God is nature, and how wonderful it is! CARRY YOUR GARBAGE WITH YOU, INCLUDING YOUR FECES! THE MOUNTAIN, NATURE AND US THANK YOU! Follow on Instagram: www.instagram.com/natrilhadafabi
