They lived through the period of rapid growth, democratization, and foreign exchange crisis, and they are currently the backbone generation that is the backbone of our country politically, socially, and economically. They are 9.54 million people in total, accounting for 18.6% of the total population, and they are starting to retire this year. It is expected that 1 million people will retire every year for the next 10 years. In July, the Bank of Korea announced an analysis that the annual growth rate of our country's economy will drop by 0.38%p due to the mass retirement of those who played the role of the backbone generation.
