In broad daylight, at the country's largest airport, two hooded men got out of their car, heavily armed, and shot Antônio Vinícius Gritzbach, who died instantly. He was in the PCC's crosshairs: accused of money laundering for drug trafficking and double homicide, Vinícius had reached a plea bargain with the courts and had already reported on the gang's schemes and criminal police officers. Now, the investigation is trying to connect the dots to retrace the trail of crimes in which the whistleblower was involved in order to shed light on the murder. This is what TV Globo reporter Bruno Tavares explains in this episode. In addition to him, Julia Duailibi also talks to prosecutor Lincoln Gakiya, from the Special Task Force for the Repression of Organized Crime (Gaeco) in Presidente Prudente, from the MP-SP. Gakiya talks to Assunto about the repercussions of Gritzbach's plea bargain and reveals what he told the victim when he offered him witness protection services.
