Thirty years later, it is back, with new characters and a new cast. In the start of the season, doctor Milo wants to hide his affair with a nurse. The most famous TV hospital in the Netherlands opens its doors again. Many Dutch people were glued to the TV screen every week for Medisch Centrum West between 1988 and 1994. At its peak, the program even had 4.5 million viewers. Thirty years later, SBS 6 is coming up with a refreshed version of the hospital series, with new characters and a completely new cast. Medisch Centrum West In the first episode, assistant physician Luna (Susannah El Mecky) wants to prove herself in the emergency department. It doesn't help that her mother Rosa (Saskia Temmink), who works as an internist-oncologist in the hospital, is on her tail. Meanwhile, head physician Milo (Beau Schneider) tries to hide his affair with a nurse, although that becomes increasingly difficult.
